If so, Devereux Center for Effective Schools is seeking a dedicated Student Assistance Program (SAP) Liaison to provide prevention, intervention, consultation, and support services within local school districts. In this rewarding role, you will work directly with students, families, educators, and community providers to identify and address concerns related to mental health, substance use, trauma, self-harm, and other barriers to student success. As an SAP Liaison, you will collaborate with dedicated professionals who share your commitment to improving the lives of students and families. The Student Assistance Program (SAP) Liaison provides prevention, intervention, consultation, and referral services to public school students participating in the Student Assistance Program. Working closely with students, families, school teams, and community providers, the SAP Liaison conducts behavioral health screenings, facilitates psychoeducational and prevention-focused groups, provides consultation on mental health and substance use concerns, and connects students and families to appropriate community resources. This school-based role is essential in promoting early intervention, student wellness, and positive outcomes by helping students overcome barriers to academic and personal success. The SAP Liaison also maintains accurate documentation, ensures compliance with program requirements, and builds strong collaborative relationships with educators, administrators, families, and community partners.
