About The Position

Student Ambassadors serve as the “front door” of Stevenson University, providing a welcoming and informative first impression to a diverse group of prospective students. The Student Ambassadors will represent Stevenson University in the most positive light. They will primarily work all Open Houses, Accepted Students Day, and special Admissions events as assigned. Daily duties include conducting tours at Owings Mills, Owings Mills North, Owings Mills East and Greenspring Campuses for prospective tours to prospective students and families visiting the university. Student Ambassadors will be informed of which campus they need to tour on the morning of their tour.

Requirements

• Must be a current Stevenson University student
• Ability to represent Stevenson University in a positive light
• Ability to conduct tours of multiple campuses
• Good communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

• Greet visitors
• Give tours of all campuses to daily visitors and special groups
• Assemble folders for guests, letters for mailings, etc.
• Write thank you notes to students who have visited campus
• Make phone calls to prospective students and incoming freshmen as needed
• Assist with data entry
