About The Position

Martin/Martin, Inc. is seeking a Mid-Level Structural Engineer to join their Structural Engineering Group in their Denver, Colorado office. This role offers the chance to work on diverse project types using various structural materials, with opportunities in both new building design and existing building investigations/retrofits. Responsibilities include drawing development, project coordination, engineering calculations, Construction Administration, and site visits. The position involves interaction with owners, architects, and contractors throughout the project lifecycle. While many projects are in the Rocky Mountain region, the company's national reach allows for work on projects across the country. Requirements

  • Registered Professional Engineer
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering from an ABET accredited engineering curriculum
  • A minimum of 4 years of progressive engineering experience
  • 1 year of professional experience equivalencies include a Master's degree in Civil Engineering or Architectural Engineering, OR passing the 16-hour NCEES structural engineering exam
  • Demonstrates ability to be in responsible charge of projects
  • Must be eligible to work for any employer in the United States, without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.
  • Ability to work in the Denver area. Relocation reimbursement may be provided, depending on the role and job function.

Responsibilities

  • Engage with clients and contractors as primary point of contact throughout the project life cycle.
  • Manage and collaborate with engineering and technician staff to produce high-quality project documentation using computer design and graphics software programs.
  • Act as a mentor and resource for less experienced staff regarding career development, design techniques, software, and code questions.
  • Develop, monitor, and manage project work plans, schedules, and design budgets.
  • Build lasting relationships with clients through project work and business development activities.
