About The Position

The open position is for a mid-level Structural Design Engineer with a minimum of 3 years of California design experience. The position is full-time (40 hours/week). The tasks involved in this position would include but not be limited to performing moderate engineering-related calculations and tasks including research, investigation, and editing specifications. This role involves preparing portions of project documents, including drawings using AutoCad or Revit, and conducting on-site observations of projects. An engineer in this position would also assign tasks to and coordinate work with entry-level engineers and would assist in determining schedules and budget requirements for projects. Positions are available for remote work employees who reside in Los Angeles or Orange County, who would require occasional reporting in the Temecula office. Flexible work from home options are available.

Requirements

Minimum of 3 years of California design experience
Bachelor of Science in Architectural, Civil or Structural Engineering
Excellent Communication Skills
AutoCAD experience required

Nice To Haves

California Engineer in Training (EIT) Certified preferred
Professional Engineer License (PE or SE) not required
Design experience with Wood/Steel/Concrete & Masonry preferred in high seismic zones
Revit experience preferred
RISA, Etabs, Enercalc, MS Office experience preferred
