About The Position

AECOM is actively seeking a highly motivated Entry Level Structural Engineer for our Baton Rouge, Louisiana location. This position is expected to start by July 2026. The role involves building analytic and design skills, conducting engineering design under supervision, creating designs, calculations, sketches, diagrams, schematic drawings, and final working drawings under supervision. It also includes collecting and analyzing data under supervision, using computer software for basic engineering problems, and performing work in accordance with agreed-upon budget and schedule under supervision.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite

Nice To Haves

Master's in Civil Engineering
E.I.T. (Engineer-in-Training) certification, achieved through passing the FE exam
MicroStation and AutoCAD experience
Transportation structures (Bridges, Walls, etc) internship experience

Responsibilities

Builds analytic and design skills.
