About The Position

The Structural Engineer / Stress Analyst performs structural analysis using hand calculations and finite element analysis (FEA) on highly loaded subsea structures, including remotely operated vehicle (ROV) frames, mechanisms, pressure vessels, ship over-boarding equipment, and advanced development projects. The role works with design engineers from initial program stages through structural testing and completion, helping influence load paths and ensure structural integrity. Work includes static and dynamic studies; linear and nonlinear structural analysis; transient shock, fatigue, and fracture analysis; bolt and weld analysis; defining load tests; DDAM; and documentation. The position operates in a fast-paced environment and requires the ability to obtain a security clearance.
