About The Position

PT-Stretch Specialists support members in pursuing happier, healthier lives by building and nurturing relationships. They provide branded Assisted Stretch and Recovery sessions to help members feel and move better, delivering an educational and supportive experience that upholds the integrity of the Life Time Brand. The role also includes fitness floor assistance, client program administration, and promoting stretch and personal training services.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Certified personal trainer.
• CPR and AED certification.
• Knowledge of assisted stretching and other recovery techniques.
• Ability to perform aerobic activity for the duration of a class and to bend, stand, reach, climb, and lift up to 50 pounds.

Nice To Haves

• At least one year of personal training experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology, Sports Medicine, or another related field.
• Assisted Stretching Certification, such as AIS, FST, or similar.

Responsibilities

• Develop safe, professional, comprehensive client programs that drive goal achievement and retention.
• Lead clients through assisted stretch sessions using techniques such as PNF and contract-relax stretching.
• Lead clients through recovery sessions using techniques such as assisted stretching, Hypervolt percussion, and breathing drills.
• Complete all required training associated with the role.
• Conduct stretch and recovery demonstrations for new clients, including pre-participation screening, medical history and lifestyle questionnaires, and goal setting to assess and recommend stretching programs.
• Provide fitness floor assistance to members to promote safety, education, and motivation.
• Promote and sell stretch session programs and other personal training services.
• Complete administrative requirements associated with each client’s fitness plan.
• Stay current on certifications, credentials, industry trends, and continuing education to advance through the levels program.
• Provide superior customer service through complimentary and paid services and programming so members feel competent, confident, and connected.
• Document all aspects of client programming.
