About The Position

PT-Stretch Specialists support members in pursuing happier, healthier lives by building and nurturing relationships. They provide branded assisted-stretch and recovery sessions to help members feel and move better, delivering a positive, educational, and supportive member experience that upholds the Life Time Brand. The role also includes fitness-floor assistance, program promotion and sales, client-plan administration, and ongoing professional development.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Certified personal trainer.
CPR and AED certification.
Knowledge of assisted stretching and other recovery techniques.
Ability to perform aerobic activity for the duration of a class and to bend, stand, reach, climb, and lift up to 50 pounds.

Nice To Haves

At least one year of personal-training experience.
Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology, Sports Medicine, or a related field.
Assisted-stretching certification such as AIS, FST, or similar.

Responsibilities

Develop safe, professional, and comprehensive client programs that support goal achievement and retention.
Lead clients through assisted-stretch sessions using techniques such as PNF and contract-relax stretching.
Lead recovery sessions using techniques such as assisted stretching, Hypervolt percussion, and breathing drills.
Complete required role-related training.
Conduct stretch and recovery demonstrations for new clients, including pre-participation screening, medical history, lifestyle questionnaires, and goal setting, to assess and recommend programs.
Assist members on the fitness floor to promote safety, provide education, and motivate members.
Promote and sell stretch-session programs and other personal-training services.
Complete administrative requirements associated with each client’s fitness plan.
Maintain current certifications, stay informed about industry trends and credentials, and pursue continuing education to advance through the levels program.
Provide superior customer service through complimentary and paid services and programming so members feel competent, confident, and connected.
Document all aspects of client programming.
