About The Position

Connoisseur Media in Canton, Ohio, is seeking outgoing, high-energy individuals to join their Street Team. As a part-time Street Team Crew Member, you will represent the Canton stations, News-Talk WHBC-AM and Mix 94.1 WHBC-FM, by engaging with the community at local events such as concerts, festivals, charity events, and live broadcasts. Your role will involve interacting with listeners, setting up station displays, running games and contests, and promoting the station's brand. The company is looking for self-starters with strong communication and customer service skills who can adapt to a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and think on their feet. The hours will vary depending on event schedules.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must possess a valid Driver's License and current auto insurance.
• Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs.
• Must maintain a positive attitude.
• Must be willing to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Nice To Haves

• Be 21 years or older.
• Have an interest in radio.
• Possess previous radio or media experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the execution of all station and company events, including concerts, live remote broadcasts, station appearances, and conferences.
• Set up station events, which may include raising tents, connecting sound systems, and installing signage/banners.
• Manage events in progress by interacting with listeners, leading games, operating prize wheels, and speaking on the microphone/PA.
• Communicate effectively with listeners, employees, management at events, and clients.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
