Street Team (Part Time)
About The Position
Connoisseur Media in Chicago North is seeking outgoing, high-energy individuals to join their Street Team. This part-time role involves being the public face of their radio stations (WIIL, WZSR, WLIP, WXLC, and WKRS) at various community events such as concerts, festivals, charity events, and live broadcasts. Responsibilities include engaging with listeners, setting up station displays, running games and contests, and promoting the station's brands. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with strong communication and customer service skills, capable of thinking on their feet and thriving in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. The hours vary depending on event schedules.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Must hold a valid Driver’s License and current auto insurance.
- Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs.
- Must have a positive attitude.
- Must be willing to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Nice To Haves
- 21 years or older.
- Interest in radio.
- Previous radio or media experience.
Responsibilities
- Assisting in the execution of all station and company events, including concerts, live remote broadcasts, station appearances, and conferences.
- Setting up station events, which may involve raising tents, connecting sound systems, and putting up signage/banners.
- Managing events in progress by interacting with listeners, leading games, operating prize wheels, and speaking on the microphone/PA system.
- Communicating effectively with listeners, employees, management, and clients.
- Other duties as assigned.
