About The Position

Join the Global Enterprise Segment (GES) Strategy & Planning team, where we are dedicated to accelerating Cisco's growth and empowering seller success. You will partner closely with GES Area Sales Leadership, field sellers, GES Operations, and cross-functional teams including Finance. We are seeking a highly motivated and diligent Strategy & Planning Operations Manager to join our Global Enterprise Sales (GES) Strategy & Planning team. In this role, you will provide critical strategic and operational support across three key areas: Global CGEM Business (35%): Support strategy development and execution, prepare data and presentations for Quarterly Business Reviews (QBOs), conduct data analysis to support and make business decisions, and coordinate customer events with the marketing team. Headquarters Strategy & Planning (35%): Assist with core business activities such as the Connected Achievement budgeting process, manage and track sales organization training progress, support headquarters-level projects, monitor critical project deadlines, and compile reports and presentations for senior leadership. Geo Sales Areas Strategy & Planning (30%): Provide logistical and content support for Area Sales All-Hands meetings, offer QBO support, and maintain and update the team's SharePoint site. You will also contribute to ad hoc projects and initiatives. This role requires a highly organized, proactive, and adaptable individual who excels in a dynamic environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional context-switching abilities, a keen analytical mind, and a strong understanding of the Global Enterprise sales organization.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in strategy, planning, project management, or a related analytical field.
  • Exceptional proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint for creating impactful and visually engaging presentations.
  • Experience in a sales environment, with a solid understanding of sales processes, metrics, quarterly business reviews, and compensation structures.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and derive actionable insights.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, projects, and deadlines simultaneously with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Comfortable with a variety of daily tasks and responsibilities, with strong context-switching abilities to seamlessly transition between different projects and subject matters.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint) and familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and reporting platforms (e.g., PowerBI, Tableau).
