Strategy & Operations Manager

Broccoli AISan Francisco, CA

About The Position

Broccoli AI is seeking a Strategy & Operations Manager to work directly on the most important analytical problems facing the business. Broccoli is growing rapidly, and this role will tackle critical questions such as identifying healthy customers and the reasons behind their success, uncovering areas where revenue is being missed, and understanding the drivers of performance across a large customer base. This position is ideal for someone with a consulting background who enjoys owning the entire process from model building and analysis to data work. The successful candidate will take ambiguous, high-priority questions, structure them, perform data analysis, and drive actionable recommendations. The role is divided into two core Strategy & Operations pillars: Business Operations: Focuses on building the operating system for efficient scaling. This includes owning strategic deep dives from framing the question to delivering recommendations, supporting business performance management through KPIs and operational reviews, and driving cross-functional projects with sales, customer success, and product teams. Intelligence Platform: Aims to provide customers with data, insights, and benchmarks to drive outcomes. Responsibilities include building analyses for QBRs and executive reviews for key customers, delivering insights and benchmarks to improve customer performance, and transforming one-off analyses into repeatable tools by collaborating with analytics and engineering teams.

Requirements

  • 3–6 years of experience at a top consulting firm (e.g., McKinsey, Bain, BCG, Deloitte, Accenture, or comparable) with hands-on experience working with data.
  • Passion for exploring and applying the latest AI tools and technologies to solve real business problems.
  • High-ownership mindset with a bias toward action and execution.
  • Strong analytical skills and a structured approach to problem solving.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excited to work in-person five days per week with the team in San Francisco.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience at a high-growth startup.
  • Experience working in home services or B2B SaaS.

Responsibilities

  • Own strategic deep dives end to end — frame the question, build the analysis, deliver a clear recommendation to leadership.
  • Support business performance management: KPIs, reporting, and operational reviews.
  • Drive cross-functional projects with sales, customer success, and product — from sizing opportunities to changing how we operate based on what the data says.
  • Build the analyses behind QBRs and executive reviews for our largest customers, turning Broccoli and ServiceTitan data into narratives that change how they run their businesses.
  • Deliver insights and benchmarks that help customers improve performance.
  • Turn one-off analyses into repeatable tools — working with our analytics and engineering teams so the best insights become dashboards, templates, and product.
