About The Position

The Industrial-Organizational Psychology Intern supports the Strategy and Performance Department by coordinating the weekly management rhythm for the Workforce Alignment & Gap Analysis contractor. The position maintains status trackers, organizes SOW-related deliverables, follows up on data requests and stakeholder dependencies, and prepares concise weekly updates that help leadership monitor contractor progress, risks, and upcoming decisions. The role applies industrial-organizational psychology and organizational effectiveness concepts to help ensure contractor work products are complete, evidence-based, aligned to the SOW, and useful for GOAA implementation.

Requirements

  • Pursuing a degree in Industrial-Organizational Psychology or a related field.
  • Familiarity with project management principles.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with data analysis and reporting.
  • Knowledge of organizational effectiveness concepts.
  • Previous internship experience in a related field.
