About The Position

The Product Strategy and Operations team at Glassdoor handles high-impact work across strategy, analytics, and operations. This role is a foundational member supporting the Glassdoor Product team, translating data into actionable strategy and helping focus work on the initiatives that matter most. The Senior Associate applies business judgment, structured problem-solving, and data-driven analysis to complex challenges, bringing clarity and supporting decision-making in ambiguous problem spaces. The role works collaboratively across the organization and helps guide strategy, prioritization, operating performance, and cross-functional coordination.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and at least 5 years of related experience; or a Master’s degree and at least 3 years of experience; or a PhD with no experience requirement.
• Experience in business operations, strategy and operations, management consulting, or similar data-driven roles in consumer technology or SaaS companies.
• Ability to structure and solve complex problems using data and sound business judgment.
• Strong analytical foundation, including experience with trend analysis, forecasting, and performance management.
• Ability to build and maintain models that inform decision-making and goal-setting.
• Ability to anticipate trends, align work with company goals, and connect cross-functional priorities to shape long-term direction.
• Exceptional written and verbal executive communication skills, including the ability to distill complex ideas into actionable insights and impact.
• Resourcefulness, proactivity, comfort operating in ambiguity, initiative, and ability to thrive in fast-paced environments.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets.

Responsibilities

• Analyze quantitative and qualitative trends, competitive landscapes, market dynamics, and key players across HR Tech and adjacent sectors to identify opportunities, risks, and emerging trends.
• Communicate clear, data-driven insights and recommendations to organizational leaders to guide prioritization and decision-making.
• Evaluate new business, product, and investment opportunities using structured frameworks, and develop business cases and scorecards assessing market potential, strategic fit, risks, and opportunities.
• Own operational forecasts, dashboards, and ongoing operating cadences to monitor performance, set goals, and drive accountability.
• Develop memos, presentations, and other materials that turn complex analysis and evidence into decision-ready recommendations for senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
• Connect cross-functional partners, promoting alignment around shared goals and coordination in addressing major opportunities.
