About The Position

Prosper Health is seeking a Strategy & Operations Lead, Provider Growth to address a critical scaling challenge: expanding clinical capacity to meet growing demand for high-quality mental health care. This role will own the strategy and execution of a scalable provider growth engine, combining workforce planning, analytics, experimentation, and operational problem-solving. The goal is to identify and overcome constraints on clinical capacity, potentially through improving the clinician hiring funnel, unlocking new talent pools, increasing clinician hours, rethinking the clinical model, or building new systems. This is a unique opportunity to solve a complex, business-critical problem at the intersection of healthcare operations, talent strategy, and growth, working closely with Clinical Operations, Recruiting, Product, and leadership. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker who can turn ambiguous problems into actionable plans, comfortable with capacity modeling, data analysis, experimentation, and execution. They should challenge assumptions, find creative solutions, and take ownership of outcomes.

Requirements

  • 6–8 years of experience in strategy & operations, business operations, consulting, investment banking, growth, or another analytical and operational role.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced startup environment is required.
  • Strong strategic problem-solving skills, with the ability to break down ambiguous problems, identify drivers, and build clear plans.
  • Exceptional ownership, with a track record of independently driving complex initiatives and moving metrics.
  • Analytical and data-driven, comfortable building models in Excel/Google Sheets, analyzing data, and translating insights into decisions.
  • Creative and resourceful, with demonstrated ability to find unconventional approaches and scale what works.
  • Experienced operator and team builder, with experience building teams, functions, or operating structures.
  • Strong cross-functional communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and communicate clearly with executives.
  • Startup mindset, comfortable operating in ambiguity and moving quickly.
  • Mission-driven, with a passion for improving access to high-quality mental health care.

Responsibilities

  • Own the clinical capacity strategy, including building and maintaining a clinical capacity model to forecast supply needs, identify bottlenecks, and determine high-impact levers.
  • Develop creative strategies to expand provider supply beyond traditional recruiting, exploring sourcing strategy, talent pools, clinician incentives, licensing models, and utilization.
  • Analyze and optimize the provider growth funnel, understanding clinician acquisition from sourcing to activation, and identifying opportunities for efficiency and scalability.
  • Design and execute operational experiments to test new approaches, measure impact, and scale successful initiatives.
  • Build scalable processes and systems, including frameworks, dashboards, operating rhythms, and accountability mechanisms for managing clinical capacity.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Clinical Operations, Recruiting, Product, and executive leadership to align priorities and drive outcomes.
  • Build and scale a high-performing team over time, defining organizational structure, processes, and talent needs.
