About The Position

Nitra is seeking a Strategy and Analytics Sr Associate to help shape the strategy, performance, and growth of its card business. The role uses data to answer key business questions, optimize card performance, evaluate experiments, and support data-backed decisions across product, marketing, and operations. It is suited to a candidate with experience in investment banking, private equity, hedge funds, consulting, or an analytical fintech environment who wants to apply quantitative skills at a fast-moving startup. The role leads card-feature implementation from strategy through launch, including market research, customer insights, competitive analysis, business cases, success metrics, and cross-functional coordination. It also leads business development for potential card partnerships or acquisitions, including partner evaluation, financial modeling, deal memos, diligence, and negotiations alongside senior leadership. The associate advises the co-founders and executive team, prepares and leads executive meetings, and provides recommendations on product priorities, deal economics, and growth opportunities. The position analyzes card performance, customer behavior, transactions, and unit economics; designs and measures experiments; builds dashboards and reporting frameworks; and defines and tracks card KPIs. It partners with teams across Product, Engineering, Marketing, Finance, and Operations, and works with engineering and data teams to improve data infrastructure, reporting automation, and metric definitions. The role also develops financial models and business cases, supports promotional calendars, rewards programs, and merchant partnerships, and conducts deep-dive analyses and ad hoc strategic work. Nitra operates a hybrid work policy: employees work from the office four days per week, with Wednesdays designated as work-from-home. The full-time position has a base salary range of $140,000–$170,000, plus bonus, equity, and benefits.
