Strategic Project Manager, Real Estate

CrusoeSan Francisco, CA

About The Position

Crusoe is seeking a Strategic Project Manager, Real Estate to serve as the primary operational engine for our SVP of Real Estate. This is not a traditional administrative role; it is a purpose-built partnership for a high-level operator who blends executive support with domain-specific intuition. As the SVP’s most trusted day-to-day partner, you will function as an extension of their leadership. You’ll be responsible for managing high-stakes priorities, exercising delegated authority, and ensuring the Real Estate function operates at peak velocity. You sit at the critical intersection of strategy execution, professional judgment, and relationship management.

Requirements

  • 5–8 years in senior business operations, executive partnership, or real estate operations.
  • A strong background (or deep interest) in commercial real estate, energy infrastructure, or large-scale industrial development.
  • Proven ability to communicate with and influence senior stakeholders while maintaining absolute confidentiality and poise.
  • Exceptional organizational skills. You should be comfortable navigating "the weeds" of a lease agreement while keeping the 30,000-foot strategy in view.
  • Proficiency with project tracking and RE tools
  • A proactive, low-ego approach. You find professional satisfaction in making the broader organization more effective and scalable.

Responsibilities

  • Architect and optimize the SVP’s workflow, ensuring their time is ruthlessly protected and allocated to the highest-impact land, power, and infrastructure initiatives.
  • Represent the SVP in internal and external forums. You will deliver updates, synthesize complex information, and act as a credible voice for the office of the SVP when they are not in the room.
  • Exercise high-level judgment to manage approvals, coordinate urgent escalations, and make informed decisions within a defined scope to keep projects moving.
  • Serve as the central communications hub. You will draft executive-level correspondence, prepare briefing materials, and translate raw data into polished board-ready presentations.
  • Track critical deal milestones and portfolio-level deliverables. You’ll keep a pulse on land acquisition, power procurement, and lease workstreams to ensure nothing slips through the cracks.
  • Lead special projects that require tight coordination between Legal, Finance, and Operations to drive commercial outcomes.
  • Proactively identify friction points in the Real Estate team’s workflows and implement the systems or communication rhythms needed to fix them.
