ICMS is seeking an experienced Strategic Real Estate Analyst that focuses on evaluating and optimizing a real estate portfolio to drive efficiency and cost savings. This role involves conducting in-depth analyses to identify consolidation opportunities, forecasting future space needs, and developing long-term strategic real estate plans aligned with organizational goals.

Requirements

  • At least 10 years of progressively responsible experience in strategic real estate, portfolio management, space planning, or related fields.
  • Demonstrated experience managing large, complex real estate portfolios (e.g., federal or multi-site environments)
  • Proven track record of delivering cost savings, consolidation strategies, and portfolio optimization initiatives
  • Strong ability to build business cases, including cost-benefit analyses and feasibility studies
  • Advanced proficiency in data analysis and translating findings into actionable recommendations
  • Strong communication skills, including executive-level briefings and report development
  • Active CCIM (Certified Commercial Investment Member) is required.
  • Active FAC-C (Federal Acquisition Certification in Contracting) certification for Leasing Contracting Officers, within the last 5 years, or equivalent is preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Shall be citizens of the U.S.
  • Must have favorably adjudicated background investigations.

Nice To Haves

  • Active FAC-C (Federal Acquisition Certification in Contracting) certification for Leasing Contracting Officers, within the last 5 years, or equivalent is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive portfolio analyses to identify and recommend opportunities for consolidation, cost savings, and improved efficiency
  • Draft strategic real estate plans aligned with FPS's mission and long-term objectives, including forecasting future space needs
  • Create and present high-quality briefings to FPS leadership and stakeholders to communicate space planning findings, relocation scenarios, Program of Requirements (PORs), SF-81s (Request for Space forms), and analytical insights
  • Research and prepare business case analyses to evaluate project feasibility, quantify benefits and costs, to support governmental decision-making
  • Provide comprehensive weekly status reports and final summary reports on project activities, findings, and recommendations
  • Deliver monthly and quarterly summary reports on occupancy agreements, space utilization, and leasehold improvements
