About The Position

Join an eight-person AI data startup in San Francisco at the start of a major hiring wave. The Strategic Project Lead works at the center of the company, helping engineering and life sciences enterprises apply AI to valuable workflows and turning that work into datasets and evaluations for frontier AI labs. This role spans enterprise go-to-market and outbound, including rolling out deployments across portfolio companies of a private equity firm; creating executive pitch decks; preparing materials for employee shadowing sessions so engineers can build products that fit each business; and managing operations that convert enterprise data into tasks for AI labs, including quality checks and removal of personal information. The role also hires and coordinates small groups of domain experts and manages delivery schedules, quality, and costs for lab customers. The Strategic Project Lead co-owns lab accounts alongside an Environment Engineer, with a stated path to Engagement Manager and then General Manager. Compensation is a competitive base salary plus commission and equity. The team works onsite in San Francisco six days a week. Visa transfers, such as OPT or H1B transfers, and new visa sponsorship are available for qualified candidates.
