The World Food Programme (WFP) is the world's largest humanitarian organization, dedicated to saving lives in emergencies and using food assistance to build a pathway to peace, stability, and prosperity for people recovering from conflict, disasters, and the impact of climate change. WFP is committed to fostering diverse, skilled, and high-performing teams, selected on merit, and operating in a healthy and inclusive work environment. The Public Partnerships Division specifically focuses on building partnerships with national governments and development actors, including International Financial Institutions (IFIs), to strategically position WFP and mobilize resources for achieving zero hunger and related development priorities. This role is part of a broader initiative to diversify partnerships, particularly around the 'Changing Lives' agenda, and requires reinforcing the team to support expanding opportunities, articulate WFP's value propositions, and assist country offices with proposals and contracts. The Strategic Partnerships Consultant will report to the Deputy Director of MPC and engage with the World Bank, IMF, and IDB on geographic and thematic portfolio issues.
