About The Position

Reporting to the Vice President of Business Development, the Strategic Partnerships Account Manager is responsible for managing Pyramid Pharma Services' strategic partnerships and key customer accounts while driving long-term revenue growth through exceptional account management and partner engagement. This role serves as the primary relationship manager for strategic partners and selected commercial clients, ensuring successful project execution, identifying growth opportunities, and strengthening Pyramid's external partnerships.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Business, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or CDMO account management, alliance management, or business development
  • Experience managing strategic customer relationships and external partnerships
  • Strong understanding of pharmaceutical development and manufacturing preferred
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and project coordination skills
  • Approximately 20% travel

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary relationship manager for strategic CDMO, technology, and service partners.
  • Develop and execute partnership plans that drive referral opportunities and joint business development initiatives.
  • Coordinate quarterly business reviews and executive meetings with strategic partners.
  • Monitor partnership performance and identify opportunities to expand collaboration.
  • Manage assigned commercial customer accounts following contract execution.
  • Serve as the primary commercial point of contact throughout the customer lifecycle.
  • Coordinate internal resources to ensure successful project execution and customer satisfaction.
  • Lead regular business reviews with assigned customers.
  • Identify opportunities for additional programs, lifecycle management projects, technology transfers, and commercial expansion within existing accounts.
  • Develop account growth strategies aligned with customer objectives.
  • Support contract renewals and amendments.
  • Build strong, long-term customer relationships.
  • Resolve commercial issues by coordinating with Operations, Quality, Project Management, and Technical Services.
  • Monitor customer satisfaction and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Work closely with Business Development to ensure seamless transition from opportunity to execution.
  • Support proposal development and commercial negotiations for existing customers.
  • Maintain accurate account plans and opportunity information within Salesforce.
  • Monitor customer pipelines, competitive activity, and emerging opportunities.
  • Identify trends that support future partnership and account growth strategies.
  • Collaborate with Marketing on customer success stories, testimonials, conference activities, and joint partner initiatives.
  • Represent Pyramid at conferences, industry meetings, and customer events.
