About The Position

MyndBridge is seeking a relationship-oriented coordinator to expand the organization’s network of institutional, governmental, business, philanthropic, and community stakeholders. The position identifies, initiates, and cultivates relationships that support organizational growth, fee-for-service offerings, grant-funded initiatives, program expansion, and strategic partnerships. Working with the Business Development Manager, Grant Manager, Program Director, and CEO, the coordinator connects MyndBridge with decision-makers and influential stakeholders, arranges introductions and meetings, identifies opportunities, and routes prospective partnerships to the appropriate internal leader. The coordinator serves as a central point of coordination for external relationships and opportunities across educational institutions, government, business, philanthropy, and community organizations. The role includes stakeholder research and outreach, meeting coordination, CRM upkeep, opportunity tracking, and weekly reporting. The coordinator supports—but does not take over—the responsibilities of internal leaders: the Business Development Manager retains responsibility for proposals, pricing, negotiations, contracts, and closing; the Grant Manager handles grant research, applications, reporting, and compliance; the Program Director oversees program design and delivery; and the CEO leads executive-level strategic engagement. The position is accountable to the CEO for strategic priorities and engagement outcomes. The engagement is authorized for up to 15 hours per week at $25 per hour, under a written services agreement. Success is measured by relationship development, qualified opportunities, stakeholder engagement, and consistent follow-through.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience in outreach, partnership development, institutional relations, business development support, community engagement, or a related field.
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to initiate and sustain professional relationships with institutional executives, government representatives, and community leaders.
  • Strong research, organizational, and relationship-management skills.
  • Experience using CRM systems, spreadsheets, and professional communication tools.
  • Ability to identify opportunities, coordinate introductions, and maintain consistent follow-through.
  • Professional judgment, discretion, and ability to communicate effectively across different stakeholder groups.
  • Familiarity with the Long Island and/or New York City institutional landscape.
  • Ability to manage agreed deliverables independently and collaborate with multiple organizational leaders.
  • Ability to work within an authorized engagement of up to 15 hours per week and coordinate priorities through a shared priority list.

Nice To Haves

  • Existing professional relationships with school districts, government offices, chambers of commerce, employers, or community institutions.
  • Experience in nonprofit external relations, workforce development, education, government relations, or economic development.
  • Familiarity with public-sector and philanthropic funding environments.
  • Experience supporting institutional sales or public-private partnerships.
  • Knowledge of HubSpot, GoHighLevel, or similar CRM platforms.
  • Experience coordinating stakeholder meetings, institutional introductions, and community initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and cultivate relationships with educational institutions, government representatives, business organizations, philanthropic institutions, and community stakeholders.
  • Develop connections with elected officials and their offices, legislative staff, government agencies, chambers of commerce, economic development organizations, and regional business associations.
  • Establish relationships with foundations, civic organizations, community-based organizations, and other mission-aligned institutions.
  • Conduct professional outreach through email, telephone, LinkedIn, networking events, and other appropriate channels.
  • Coordinate introductory meetings, informational briefings, stakeholder visits, and program presentations, and follow up consistently.
  • Represent MyndBridge professionally in authorized outreach activities, meetings, and community engagements.
  • Identify prospective school districts, schools, employers, workforce development agencies, and other institutional clients; research decision-makers and assess alignment with fee-for-service programs.
  • Introduce prospective partners to MyndBridge’s workforce readiness, industry-certification, and applied technology offerings, and generate qualified introductory meetings for the Business Development Manager.
  • Support targeted outreach campaigns, gather preliminary information about institutional needs and purchasing timelines, and identify recurring engagement, multi-school partnership, and regional expansion opportunities.
  • Identify prospective funding stakeholders, facilitate introductions to the Grant Manager, coordinate meetings and visits, track funding-related contacts in the CRM, and assist with follow-up communications.
  • Identify prospective program hosts, referral partners, and institutional collaborators; gather preliminary information about community needs and program demand; and coordinate introductions and presentations for the Program Director.
  • Support outreach for program launches and geographic expansion, facilitate connections for referrals and workforce pathways, and coordinate stakeholder site visits.
  • Identify and cultivate executive-level, government, and regional institutional relationships; support the CEO’s engagement through meeting coordination, background research, and follow-up communications.
  • Identify relevant public forums, advisory discussions, business events, and institutional convenings, and coordinate stakeholder briefings and visits to MyndBridge facilities.
  • Maintain organized records of executive-level stakeholder interactions and next steps. Lobbying, legislative advocacy, political activity, and formal government representation require prior leadership authorization and compliance with applicable laws and policies; the role excludes partisan campaigning and endorsements.
  • Assess the purpose and potential value of stakeholder relationships and route commercial opportunities, funding opportunities, program opportunities, and executive-level relationships to the appropriate internal leaders.
  • Coordinate opportunities involving multiple departments, clarify internal ownership and action items, and help prevent duplicate outreach or conflicting communications.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records, document outreach activity and meeting outcomes, organize contacts, track partnership stages, and maintain a stakeholder directory.
  • Provide concise weekly reports on outreach, new relationships, meetings, and emerging opportunities; coordinate follow-up assignments and support improvements to outreach and relationship-management processes.
  • Work to initial monthly benchmarks of identifying 30–40 prospects, initiating 25–35 targeted outreach contacts, securing 4–6 qualified meetings or introductions, developing 2–3 substantive new relationships with documented next steps, maintaining complete active CRM records, providing weekly updates, and referring qualified opportunities appropriately. Targets may be reviewed and adjusted after the first 30–60 days.
