About The Position

The Strategic Operations & Program Management role sits within the Communications & Public Affairs organization and serves as the operational backbone of the social team. The team drives clarity, speed, and efficiency by leading strategic planning, program management for large-scale initiatives, operational governance, and cross-functional coordination. We are seeking an Program Manager to own the end-to-end planning, execution, and delivery of large-scale social, creative, and communications programs while simultaneously establishing and maintaining the governance frameworks that ensure operational excellence across the organization's social media channel ecosystem. This person will partner cross-functionally with creative strategists, social teams, communications leads, security, legal, brand, and external agency partners to maintain flawless execution and governance across high-priority initiatives spanning flagship events, product launches, policy campaigns, and organizational programs.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in Program Management, Creative Operations, Marketing Operations, Social Media Operations, Digital Production, or related fields.
  • Demonstrated experience managing large-scale, multi-stakeholder programs with complex timelines and cross-functional dependencies.
  • Experience managing operational processes for large-scale social media programs or content organizations.
  • Experience administering access controls, workflows, or governance programs across multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to distill complexity into clear updates for leadership and cross-functional partners.
  • Proficiency with project management tools such as Jira, Asana, Airtable, or similar platforms.
  • Experience building operational processes from the ground up and scaling them across teams.
  • Proven ability to work autonomously and prioritize effectively with minimal supervision.
  • Experience operating in fast-paced environments with multiple competing priorities.

  • Experience supporting enterprise social media programs for global brands.
  • Experience supporting executive-level events or large-scale campaigns, including product launches, conferences, or tentpole moments.
  • Experience working with external agencies and vendor management.
  • Familiarity with platform administration tools, content publishing systems, and digital asset management solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Drive end-to-end project management for large-scale, cross-functional programs and campaigns across the team, including flagship events, product launches, and policy/social campaigns.
  • Develop project plans, timelines, RACI frameworks, and workback schedules.
  • Coordinate across creative, social, communications, and public affairs teams to align workstreams, manage dependencies, lead status meetings, and track deliverables.
  • Identify risks, escalate blockers, and drive resolution across stakeholder groups.
  • Support strategic planning processes including roadmapping, resource allocation, goal-setting, and organizational process development.
  • Partner with external agencies and vendors on deliverable alignment and timelines.
  • Support the expansion of centralized program management capabilities across the Communications & Public Affairs organization.
  • Improve processes that support content movement from planning through publication.
  • Own operational governance across the organization's social media channel ecosystem.
  • Maintain channel access management processes, including onboarding, offboarding, permissions reviews, and audit readiness.
  • Partner with Security, Communications, Legal, and Brand teams to ensure appropriate controls are in place across social platforms.
  • Manage credential governance, authentication processes, and access documentation.
  • Establish and maintain channel ownership records, escalation paths, and operational standards.
  • Build and refine scalable operational processes, templates, workflows, playbooks, and frameworks.
  • Support workflow documentation, knowledge management, and tool migrations.
  • Create and maintain centralized documentation for channel management, governance policies, and operational procedures.
  • Identify operational risks and implement solutions that improve efficiency, compliance, and scalability.
  • Lead periodic audits to ensure permissions, documentation, and access records remain accurate and current.
  • Identify opportunities to automate manual workflows and improve operational efficiency.
  • Manage distribution and maintenance of brand guidelines, creative standards, and approved social resources.
  • Ensure teams and partners have access to approved brand materials and platform requirements.
  • Partner with creative teams to establish governance frameworks that support brand consistency across channels.
  • Collaborate closely with Creative, Communications, Production, Brand, Legal, Privacy, Security, Marketing, and Public Affairs stakeholders.
  • Serve as the primary operational point of contact for questions related to social channel governance, access management, and program execution.
  • Coordinate workstreams, manage dependencies, and drive resolution of blockers across teams.
  • Track operational metrics related to channel management, governance compliance, program delivery, and process effectiveness.
  • Develop reporting and dashboards that provide visibility into channel health, access management, program status, and governance initiatives.
  • Support budget tracking, OPEX management, and resource planning as needed.
