About The Position

The Operations Management Development Program (OMDP) at Brunswick is a 2-year structured rotational program designed for new graduates to build leadership skills and operational expertise, preparing them for future leadership roles in Operations Management. Participants will make immediate contributions while working alongside operations leaders, gain networking opportunities across multiple US locations, and receive support from Brunswick's executive leadership team. Regular programming events will provide exposure to other divisions and locations.

Requirements

  • Must be a full-time undergraduate student graduating in Spring ’27 with a focus on Engineering Management, Operational Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, and Business Analytics
  • Must have a desire to build a career in Operations Leadership in a manufacturing environment
  • Willingness and ability to relocate (Fond du Lac, WI, Ft Wayne, IN, New York Mills, MN, Lebanon, MO, Edgewater, FL, Knoxville, TN, Merritt Island, FL – locations subject to modification)
  • To be considered for this position, candidates must have permanent US Work authorization
  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Management, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, and Business Analytics

Nice To Haves

  • 1-2 previous internships or co-ops in a manufacturing environment preferred

  • Familiarity with LSS/Continuous Improvement methodology

Responsibilities

  • Managing and/or participating in project teams to support leadership in engineering, manufacturing, plant management, general operations, and program management
  • Evaluating performance and productivity
  • Acting as a leader for front line production employees
  • Helping create a Lean culture and promoting operations excellence
  • Building an understanding of operations methods within Brunswick
  • Generating reports and giving presentations
  • Making recommendations to our leadership team(s)
  • Problem Solving/Root Cause Correct Action follow-through
  • Challenging status quo by looking for areas of improvement
