About The Position

The Strategic Initiatives Intern will support the Strategy Realization Office (SRO) in advancing enterprise‑wide transformation initiatives. This role offers hands‑on exposure to business strategy through project coordination, planning support, and communications that help translate strategy into action across the organization. This is a three‑month remote contract, open to candidates working from anywhere in Canada.

CWB has adopted a remote-first working model, where employees will work from their home office, servicing the client within their specified areas either remotely or in person. We are embracing radical flexibility, where employees are encouraged to work a schedule that works best for them, their team, and their clients.

Requirements

• Enrolled in post-secondary, college or university-level courses in Business Administration, Communications, Project Management, or related field
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Able to work both independently under minimal supervision and with others in a collaborative environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and digital communication channels (Microsoft Teams, email)

Nice To Haves

• Bilingual (French and English)
• Post‑secondary, college or university coursework in Business Administration, Communications, Project Management, or a related field

Responsibilities

• Support the planning and execution of strategic projects and initiatives
• Assist with organizing workshops, meetings, and cross‑functional strategic sessions
• Collaborate with team members to support alignment on objectives and priorities
• Contribute to change management and internal communication activities
• Provide general project and administrative support, as required
• Conduct research to support strategy realization and planning activities.
• Other duties as assigned
