About The Position

As a key member of the Corporate Finance & Strategy organization reporting directly to the Director of Strategic Finance, the Lead will play a critical role in driving value creation across Royal Caribbean Group’s portfolio of investments, with a particular focus on the Company’s largest and most strategic joint ventures. This role will help translate investment theses into actionable value creation initiatives, drive performance and governance across the portfolio, and selectively contribute to broader corporate‑wide strategic programs. The Lead will be a self‑starter and independent team member with strong analytical capabilities, excellent problem solving (both quantitative and qualitative), sound business judgment, and the maturity to partner effectively with senior executives and cross‑functional leaders. The role requires comfort operating in ambiguity, a results‑oriented mindset, and a collaborative style that enables alignment across diverse stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 3–6 years of relevant experience in management consulting and/or private equity, or a related field.
  • Strong problem-solving skills to drive complex issues to resolution in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills; ability to handle confidential information with discretion and exercise good business judgement.
  • Self-starter with intellectual curiosity, motivated to complete tasks promptly, and a strong desire to learn and deliver an excellent work product.
  • Open-minded, flexible, collaborative team-player, and able to listen to others.
  • Commitment to continuous improvement, including the use of AI tools where appropriate to enhance analytical rigor and efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Driving and supporting value creation planning and execution across RCG’s largest joint venture investments;
  • Supporting the Investment Management Office through performance management, governance processes, and cross-portfolio priorities;
  • Contributing to select enterprise‑level strategic programs (as capacity permits).
  • Drive value creation planning and execution within priority investments through initiative identification, data‑driven financial analysis, structured implementation planning, performance monitoring, and effective change management in ambiguous environments.
  • Work with Corporate Development and Corporate Strategy teams to support underwriting, value creation thesis, and strategic rationale for new investments.
  • Contribute to end-to-end investment lifecycle, including value realization tracking, exit readiness, and transaction support, where applicable.
  • Interface with cross‑functional teams (Finance, Operations, Commercial, Brand, Legal, etc.) to align stakeholders and drive execution against shared objectives.
  • Support the Investment Management Office through portfolio analytics, KPI development, governance support, and periodic performance reporting.
  • Support select corporate‑wide strategic programs as needed, consistent with RCG priorities and organizational capacity.
