The Strategic Initiatives Coordinator supports the planning, implementation, and coordination of strategic initiatives within the School of Environment and Sustainability (SENS), including professional development programming (continuing education), the SENS Summer Kids Camp (SENS Eco Camps), and leading some recruitment and student engagement initiatives including enhanced coordination of student-partner projects (e.g., ENVS 992) and partnership development activities aligned with SENS strategic priorities. Reporting to the Executive Director, this position works in a collaborative, often fast-paced environment requiring strong organizational and communication skills. The Coordinator works with faculty, staff, students (current and prospective), community partners and working professionals, including youth and volunteers, and is responsible for managing multiple priorities, coordinating across diverse stakeholders, and ensuring the effective delivery of programming and initiatives. This position is primarily on-site at the University of Saskatchewan in Saskatoon and requires a consistent physical presence to support strategic initiatives. Due to the hands-on and interactive nature of this role, remote work is not suitable. Relocation assistance is not provided. Some flexibility may be required to accommodate outreach, recruitment, and partnership activities, which may include occasional off-site and/or after-hours work.
