About the position
As the Strategic Finance Analyst for Ruggable’s Finance team, you will play a critical role in developing performance visibility and enabling change management through strategic analysis. The position will act as a thought partner to the various operating functions at Ruggable, providing business support and driving ad-hoc projects. We are looking for a quantitative self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and seeks end-to-end ownership of analytical strategic initiatives. Responsibilities
- Provide business support and guidance to cross-functional partners through actionable quantitative insights and the communication of findings
- Develop financial models and tools to support business decisions, understand performance of products and business units, and explore the financial impacts of potential initiatives
- Generate ad-hoc analyses to ensure data-driven decision-making is supported across Ops, Product, Marketing, and Finance
- Maintain end-to-end ownership of projects (i.e., scoping, data collection, analysis, presentation, iteration, etc.)
- Identify and analyze financial variances and provide an impactful explanation; be capable of communicating key messages to management
- Propose resolutions to complex or ambiguous problems, identify and proactively pursue areas for process improvement

- Track record of turning ambiguous questions or requests into meaningful analysis

- Experience modeling financials for consumer products or e-commerce brands preferred
- Intermediate experience with SQL, Python, and Alteryx preferred
