About The Position

SpaceX is seeking a Strategic Connectivity Manager for Starlink’s Strategic Connectivity Projects team, focused on the APAC, Middle East, and Central Asia region. The manager will develop strategies, expand capabilities, build and maintain external relationships, track progress, and collaborate with internal teams to ensure Starlink products and processes can support these use cases. The position also involves communicating the positive impact of Starlink projects and traveling to SpaceX offices and customer locations as needed, estimated at 25% on average through the year, with possible surges. Extended hours and weekends may be required for critical milestones or operational shifts.

  • Must be willing to travel to other SpaceX offices and customer locations as needed; estimated average travel is 25% through the year, with possible surges or concentrated periods.
  • Must meet U.S. government export-control eligibility requirements: be a U.S. citizen or national, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee, or be eligible to obtain required U.S. Department of State authorizations.

Nice To Haves

  • Ability to champion and lead significant cross-functional projects and business initiatives, including managing competing priorities and limited resources.
  • Exceptional external-interface and public-speaking skills, including excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Ability to communicate effectively within SpaceX and tailor communications from working-level to executive-level audiences.
  • Excellent negotiation and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Strong ability to identify projects with positive social and economic development potential that are also sound business decisions.
  • Ability to navigate risk and ambiguity successfully.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategies aligned with Starlink business goals and team-specific goals.
  • Manage and grow capabilities to enable projects of all sizes.
  • Select, establish, and maintain strategic relationships, including with influential individuals, philanthropic entities, non-governmental organizations, and development banks.
  • Measure and report progress toward goals, creating new tracking methods when needed.
  • Maintain a strong grasp of standard Starlink product offerings and business processes, and use sound judgment about if, when, and how to deviate from them.
  • Identify and justify changes or deviations needed for Starlink products, processes, and capabilities to support social and economic development use cases.
  • Collaborate with internal partners, including market access, global operations, growth, sales, legal, finance, account management, and communications.
