The Strategic Broker Relationship Manager is responsible for working closely with the business development teams and Vice President to manage the strategic broker partners in their respective territories. These broker partners contribute over 40% of the territory premium and directly contribute to the success of the LOB financial plan. This role is responsible for defining distribution strategies and tactics that drive new business acquisition and premium retention in personal and commercial business while ensuring portfolio quality, profitability and competitiveness for the defined territory. Reporting to the Vice President, Business Development, this creative, solution oriented, business development manager builds strong internal and external relationships, identifies opportunities, while ensuring portfolio quality, and profitability within the LOB appetite and guidelines. This role will hold senior business development accountability and be responsible for handling our largest strategic relationships to support the achievement of our targeted business goals.
