About The Position

We are seeking an exceptional Strategic Account Executive to join our founding US team and drive our expansion across North America. This is a high-impact, strategic role focused on acquiring and growing our largest enterprise accounts. You will engage directly with senior decision-makers at leading global companies, negotiate complex deals, and build lasting partnerships that significantly contribute to our growth. We are looking for thoughtful, intellectually curious professionals who excel at building trust, asking insightful questions, and employing a strategic, consultative approach to problem-solving. As one of the initial Strategic AEs in the US, you will have the opportunity to influence our go-to-market strategy, contribute to team building, and play a pivotal role in our next phase of growth. This role offers potential career progression into leading a team of Strategic Account Executives or remaining as a senior individual contributor focused on our most significant enterprise opportunities.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience closing large enterprise SaaS deals with companies having £5bil+ revenue.
  • Expertise in using MEDDICC or similar sales methodologies.
  • Experience managing long and complex sales cycles with multiple stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to self-source and generate pipeline.
  • Consecutive years of quota attainment at a technology company.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience selling into the CFO office.
  • Specific knowledge of the Accounts Payable space.
  • Multi-lingual.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a consultative trusted advisor focused on developing and closing new business opportunities with prospective Xelix customers.
  • Manage a portfolio of prospects at various stages of the sales cycle, utilizing leads generated by the Xelix partner network.
  • Conduct assessments to understand prospect pain points and develop roadmaps and business cases for their finance transformation using Xelix solutions.
  • Manage and forecast sales activity and opportunities by executing the Xelix sales process and playbook, and iterating these to suit the US market.
  • Attend in-person client site meetings and industry events (user groups, trade shows, conferences) to build and manage relationships with prospective and existing customers.
