About The Position

DocuWare stands for globally distributed, international teams and an open corporate culture that invites you to help shape it. We are seeking a Strategic Account Executive responsible for promoting DocuWare solutions and generating revenue exclusively through our Base and Silver partners. The focus of this role is to help grow business within this designated partner channel using a consultative, solution-selling approach and to promote these techniques across the network. The territory for this role is nationwide, however residence in New Jersey is preferred.

Requirements

  • Four-year college degree or equivalent.
  • 2-3 years successful SaaS sales experience.
  • Consistently meeting or exceeding quotas.
  • Superb presentation skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Computer skills with ability to competently demonstrate software functionality.
  • Ability to analyze business processes and to find individual solutions.
  • Willingness to travel.
  • Candidates must be authorized to work in the country without the need for visa sponsorship.

Nice To Haves

  • Document management/document imaging software industry experience preferred.
  • Ability to travel three weeks a year outside territory - DoucWorld (locations vary), Beacon NY and within wider territory for team building event.

Responsibilities

  • Meet or exceed assigned sales and gross profit objectives.
  • Develop business opportunities through the Indirect Seller channel by creating and executing marketing plans, collaborating with sales teams and professional services personnel, and identifying new opportunities to drive year-over-year growth.
  • Conduct sales and technical workshops to educate partners, along with end-user seminars and presentations, to close business effectively.
  • Partner closely with Indirect Sellers to qualify prospects, assess requirements, and support the full sales cycle from consultation through close.
  • Maintain, analyze, and utilize account and sales data to efficiently plan, execute, and measure business development activities.
  • Provide timely, accurate, and constructive communication to management, including CRM updates, activity tracking, and monthly reporting.
  • Travel within territory is required for this role.

Benefits

  • $105,000 base plus commission, no cap on compensation however OTE is expected range of $150,000 to $200,000.
