This position is responsible for managing all storeroom operations, playing a critical role in supporting our plant’s success by ensuring inventory is accurate, accessible, and aligned with manufacturing and maintenance needs.

Requirements

Managing all storeroom operations
Ensuring inventory is accurate, accessible, and aligned with manufacturing and maintenance needs
Using the Maximo system
Processing requests for new items and creating purchase requisitions (PRs)
Coordinating with the Purchasing team to place and track orders
Receiving, verifying, and properly documenting incoming materials and parts
Distributing and stocking inventory in designated locations
Maintaining appropriate stock levels, including critical spare parts
Performing cycle counts and ensuring inventory accuracy
Auditing and correcting documentation discrepancies; creating new records as needed
Coordinating shipping and receiving activities
Expediting orders with vendors as necessary to meet operational needs
Building and maintaining effective vendor relationships to ensure quality and cost efficiency
Evaluating pricing and sourcing options for restocking materials
Collaborating closely with Maintenance and Reliability teams to determine optimal inventory levels
Supporting maintenance projects by coordinating and staging required parts
Assisting with locating, picking, and issuing materials
Maintaining a safe, clean, and organized work environment
