About The Position

The Storeroom Coordinator is responsible for receiving, inspecting, labeling, stocking, issuing, and staging materials in accordance with site procedures and safety requirements. This role involves performing cycle counts, maintaining inventory accuracy, and supporting audits. A key function is creating and modifying material masters using SAP/MDG, and managing the lifecycle of repairable and refurbishable parts. The position also supports daily maintenance and operations requests, ensures a clean and organized storeroom, and operates material handling equipment safely.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience in warehouse, storeroom, inventory control, or maintenance support in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
  • Experience using inventory management or ERP systems (SAP preferred) to perform transactions such as goods receipts, issues, and inventory adjustments.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with the ability to maintain accurate inventory records and manage multiple priorities.
  • Ability to safely operate material handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks, or willingness to obtain certification.
  • Basic computer skills including Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and inventory tracking systems.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with maintenance, operations, purchasing, and vendors.
  • Ability to safely lift, carry, and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds as part of routine storeroom operations.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of maintenance spare parts, MRO materials, industrial tools, valves, fittings, and PPE preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Receive, inspect, label, stock, issue, and stage materials in accordance with site procedures and safety requirements
  • Perform cycle counts according to site schedules and audit requirements
  • Maintain inventory accuracy targets and support internal or external audits
  • Create, modify, and extend material masters using SAP/MDG, including plant data, MRP views, bin locations, and required attributes
  • Manage repairable and refurbishable parts lifecycle including identification, tracking, shipping, vendor coordination, and return to stock
  • Support daily maintenance and operations requests in a customer-focused manner
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant storeroom environment
  • Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely and efficiently
