About The Position

The Storeroom Clerk supports production by receiving, organizing, and issuing inventory safely and efficiently so the manufacturing team has the materials needed to fulfill customer orders on time. The role maintains accurate inventory records, assists with cycle counts and audits, responds to internal inventory questions, and helps keep the storeroom clean and safe. The position is located in Sugar Land, Texas, and is scheduled Monday through Friday from 3 PM to 11 PM, at an hourly rate of $19.00.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Proficiency with basic computer operations and web-based tools, and ability to learn and navigate ERP/inventory software.
• Strong basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, and decimals.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, work orders, and procedure manuals.
• Clear written and verbal English communication skills.
• High attention to detail, a safety-first attitude, and motivation to work independently or as part of a team.
• Ability to obtain and maintain forklift and warehouse equipment certifications.
• Ability to regularly lift up to 50 pounds, or greater with assistance, while following safe lifting standards.

Nice To Haves

• At least one year of experience in a warehouse, loading/unloading, or inventory control environment.
• Prior forklift experience or certification.

Responsibilities

• Safely unload, inspect, receive, and unpack incoming products, tools, and equipment.
• Verify deliveries against invoices and report discrepancies or damage.
• Sort, label, and store materials in designated bins, racks, or shelves according to sequence, such as size, style, and product code, while optimizing space.
• Maintain inventory logs using the ERP/database system.
• Enter issued and returned items, process stock requisitions, and track error logs.
• Assist with physical inventory, conduct cycle counts, and prepare inventory reports.
• Follow safety policies and regulations, and keep the storeroom clean, organized, and free of hazards.
• Respond to internal inquiries about stock levels and delivery schedules.
• Perform other warehouse support tasks as needed.
