About The Position

Receives, stores, issues, and delivers materials and equipment to all areas of Essentia Health in support of patient care and the organization’s goals and mission. Performs cleaning duties in accordance with regulatory guidelines. Additional responsibilities may include recording received items, maintaining the open purchase order file, filing carrier receiving documents, staging items for delivery to hospital departments, and uncrating and performing minor assembly of products.

• Ability to meet the maximum lifting requirement of 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Receive, store, issue, and deliver materials and equipment to areas throughout Essentia Health.
• Perform cleaning duties in accordance with regulatory guidelines.
• Record receipt of items as needed.
• Keep the open purchase order file up to date.
• File receiving documents from carriers.
• Stage items for delivery to hospital departments.
• Uncrate and perform minor assembly of received products.
• Use material handling equipment such as pallet jacks, transport carts, supply totes, and hand trucks.
