Keep Saint Paul moving by joining the Fleet Services Division as a Storekeeper. In this hands-on role, you'll help ensure mechanics and technicians have the parts, tools, and supplies they need to maintain the City's diverse fleet of vehicles and equipment. If you enjoy inventory management, problem-solving, customer service, and working in a fast-paced environment, this is an opportunity to play a critical role in supporting essential City operations. Here's what you can expect to do: Order, receive, stock, and distribute parts, tools, equipment, and supplies needed to maintain the City's fleet. Help technicians identify and obtain the correct parts for vehicles, heavy trucks, and equipment repairs. Track inventory, process orders and invoices, and maintain accurate records using computerized systems. Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment to move, store, and organize materials. Coordinate with vendors, manage parts deliveries and returns, and help keep fleet operations running smoothly. For more information and essential functions, see the Storekeeper job description. Information Specific to this Position: The current full-time opening is in Fleet Services and requires a Class B CDL license or higher within twelve months of employment. The work schedule is four 10 hour shifts from 2 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. and receives a 6.5% night differential for time worked after 6 p.m. This position will work inside and outdoors in all types of weather conditions.
