About The Position

Under general supervision, receives, stores, and distributes food, beverages, supplies, materials, and equipment. Leads and trains subordinate personnel. Maintains receiving, storage, and inventory areas in accordance with departmental standards, safety requirements, and health regulations. Utilizes computerized inventory and food ordering systems to support departmental operations.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Two years related work experience.
• General knowledge of the procedures and practices of issuing and storing supplies, materials, and equipment.
• Skill in operating warehouse material handling equipment.
• Ability to perform basic mathematics.
• Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
• Ability to follow directions.
• Ability to provide guidance and instruction to others.
• Ability to operate computers and other standard office equipment.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective work relationships.
• Ability to perform extensive standing, walking, and climbing.
• Ability to lift, transport and stock assigned supplies and materials.
• Ability to wear and work in personal protective equipment.
