We are looking for an organized and rigorous Storekeeper to ensure the optimal management of our inventory, tools, and equipment. If you are a key person capable of effectively supporting our site and office teams by guaranteeing the availability and traceability of resources, this opportunity is for you! The Storekeeper plays a vital role within Seguin Morris, a multidisciplinary general contractor, helping to deliver projects "On Time – On Scope – On Budget." They are responsible for the physical organization and record-keeping of inventory to support the smooth progress of construction operations.

Requirements

  • Relevant diploma (logistics, inventory management, etc.) or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role (depending on the level).
  • Good knowledge of the construction industry and applicable codes.
  • Proficiency with computer tools (Microsoft 365 Suite, ERP).
  • Excellent communication skills English and French (oral and written).
  • Rigor, organizational skills, and autonomy.

  • Valid driver's license (an asset).

Responsibilities

  • Plan, organize, and coordinate activities related to the role, including the reception, storage, and shipping of materials and equipment.
  • Ensure proper inventory maintenance and the traceability of tools and equipment for ongoing projects.
  • Work closely with site and office teams to ensure project execution, guaranteeing timely supply.
  • Maintain a register, establish a schedule, and be responsible for the maintenance of equipment and tooling (repair, leveling, calibration, etc.).
  • Apply health and safety standards and internal policies in warehouse management.
  • Maintain effective communication with internal and external stakeholders (suppliers, carriers).
  • Produce reports and recommendations to improve inventory management processes and optimize store efficiency.
