The County of Riverside Fire Department seeks to fill the Storekeeper Position located in Perris, CA. The Storekeeper under general supervision, is responsible for the receipt, storage, and issuance of supplies, materials, and equipment; to maintain and adjust stock levels; and to do other work as required. Positions in this class are usually responsible for receipt and storage of tools, supplies, and equipment listed in department inventory. Depending on assignment, responsibilities may also include related duties such as driving delivery vehicles. Supervisory responsibility of this class is normally restricted to stock clerks, clerical personnel, or trusty labor. Those positions that do not include supervisory responsibility are distinguished by greater independence in the storekeeping operations. Ideal candidates will possess prior logistics experience along with a forklift certification. All certifications must be attached at the time of application.
