Storekeeper I,II,III
About The Position
Dominion Energy South Carolina has a Storekeeper I/II/III vacancy located in Gaston, South Carolina. There is one position available which will be filled at the level commensurate with the successful candidates' education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities. The employee will be responsible for issuing and receiving materials for the plant via the computer system, managing inventory, issuing and receiving goods, purchasing and acquiring materials within prescribed limits, and handling safety equipment. This position provides assistance to corporate accounting, supply chain management, material management and all other storerooms throughout the company.
Requirements
- GED or High School Graduate
- Forklift Certification
- Minimum 50 lbs. heavy lifting capability
- Mechanically and electrically inclined
- Good communications and human relations skills
- Demonstrated attention to detail
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Availability for scheduled and unscheduled overtime
- Must respond to call outs in support of plant Operations and Maintenance
- Valid driver’s license with ability to obtain a CDL with Hazmat classification.
- Storekeeper I: 0 - 2 years of storeroom, warehouse, materials management or plant operations experience.
- Storekeeper II: 2+ years of storeroom, warehouse, materials management or plant operations experience.
- Storekeeper III: 5+ years of storeroom, warehouse, materials management or plant operations experience.
- Strong computer skills with solid knowledge of Microsoft applications.
Nice To Haves
- SAP and Maximo experience
- Previous storeroom, warehouse, materials management or plant operations experience (for Storekeeper I)
- Prior forklift experience (for Storekeeper I)
- Hazmat Certification
