About The Position

The Store Visual Associate helps create an inviting store environment by setting visual displays and presentations that align with brand standards, engage customers, and drive sales. The role collaborates with operations, merchandising, and selling teams to elevate store presentations, tailor them to the store’s needs, and maintain visual standards. This is an hourly, full-time position.

Requirements

At least 1 year of experience in visual merchandising.
Dedication to customer service and a drive to achieve store objectives.
Ability to perform the role and commitment to continuous learning.
Ability to use data and guidance to make timely, effective decisions.
Ability to take ownership of assigned tasks and contribute to store success.
Excellent communication skills.
Comfort using technology, including smartphones, tablet computers, and Windows-based operating systems.
Ability to carry props, climb ladders, measure, assemble visual elements, and hang signage at heights.
Ability to bend, reach, stretch for products, and lift, carry, and move at least 50 pounds.
Availability to work a flexible schedule based on business needs, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Ability to work with paint, climb ladders, carry props, and work with visual elements at heights.

Responsibilities

Demonstrate ownership and initiative in achieving personal goals, store objectives, and daily priorities.
Complete visual installations and floor setups on time, following visual merchandising directives, setup and takedown dates, planograms, brand guidelines, and presentation standards.
Perform daily visual maintenance, including maintaining displays, adjusting accent lighting, dressing mannequins, and using other visual elements to elevate presentations.
Organize and store visual collateral, signage, mannequins, hardware, tools, and other visual elements.
Maintain presentation standards by replenishing merchandise, verifying signage placement, supporting store recovery, and ensuring cleanliness.
Use training tools and resources, respond to feedback, and build visual merchandising skills, product knowledge, and performance.
Stay informed about products, promotions, policies, and special events.
Adapt to changing circumstances and adjust tactics and priorities based on business needs.
Support the in-store customer experience by acknowledging and assisting customers, helping during peak traffic and coverage periods, and completing other assigned tasks.
Contribute to a positive store culture by connecting with teammates, sharing knowledge, and celebrating individual and team achievements.
Follow asset protection procedures, safety guidelines, and security protocols to support shortage control, inventory accuracy, and risk reduction.
