About The Position

The Store Shopper supports Wegmans’ curbside pickup service by using an app and company-issued technology to shop customer orders and prepare them for pickup. The role focuses on fulfilling orders quickly and accurately while ensuring customers receive fresh, high-quality products. Shoppers may also perform other customer service duties in the store as needed.

Requirements

Customer service experience, preferably in food service, grocery, or retail.
Ability to use a company-issued device to manage orders and communicate with customers.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently.
Must be 18 years or older.

Responsibilities

Use technology to communicate with customers and fulfill their orders.
Accurately and efficiently fulfill customer orders and stage them in the fulfillment area.
Handle products properly, including bagging items appropriately for customers.
Make appropriate substitutions and process payments.
Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked workspace.
Perform other customer service duties within the store as needed, including operating a register.
