About The Position

At Wegmans, Store Shoppers support the company’s curbside pickup service by using an app and company-issued technology to shop customer orders and prepare them for pickup. The role is suited to someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment and is committed to providing customers with fresh, high-quality products. Shoppers may also perform other customer-service duties in the store, such as operating a register. This is a part-time position at 7830 Wormans Mill Road, Frederick, MD 21701. Availability is required in the morning and/or evening, including weekends, with shifts starting as early as 6 a.m. Applicants must be at least 18 years old. The pay range is $16.50–$17 per hour.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
Customer service experience, preferably in food service, grocery, or retail.
Ability to use a company-issued device to manage orders and communicate with customers.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently.
Availability in the morning and/or evening, including weekends; shifts may start as early as 6 a.m.

Responsibilities

Use technology to communicate with customers and fulfill orders.
Accurately and efficiently shop customer orders and stage them in the fulfillment area.
Handle products properly, including bagging items appropriately for customers.
Make appropriate substitutions as needed and process payments.
Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked workspace.
Perform other customer-service duties in the store as needed, including running a register.
