About The Position

Store Shoppers help fulfill Wegmans customers’ grocery orders for curbside pickup. Using a company-issued device and an app, they shop customer orders, communicate with customers, and stage orders for pickup. The role involves working in a fast-paced environment while helping customers receive fresh, high-quality products. Shoppers may also perform other customer service duties in the store, including running a register, as needed. The position is part-time, based at 55 US Highway 9 South, Manalapan, NJ 07726. Availability is required for mornings and afternoons, including weekends, with shifts starting as early as 5 a.m. Applicants must be at least 18 years old.

Requirements

Customer service experience, preferably in a food service, grocery, or retail setting.
Ability to use a company-issued device to manage orders and communicate with customers.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently.
Must be 18 years or older.

Responsibilities

Use technology to communicate with customers and fulfill their orders.
Accurately and efficiently shop customer orders and stage them in the fulfillment area.
Handle products properly, including bagging items appropriately for customers.
Make appropriate substitutions as needed and process payments.
Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked workspace.
Perform other customer service duties in the store as needed, including running a register.
