About The Position

REI Co-op is seeking a Store Sales Specialist to help create better outdoor experiences for customers. The role shares product and service knowledge, makes recommendations, supports customer transactions and memberships, and helps maintain organized merchandise and appealing store presentation. The specialist contributes to REI’s customer satisfaction guarantee and supports store operations, including pickup orders, while following safety and loss prevention procedures. The position calls for customer-focused communication, sound judgment, organization, collaboration, and flexibility to meet business needs.

Responsibilities

Assist customers with questions about products, memberships, and special ticket sales.
Maintain visual standards in coordination with store management, merchandising, and sales leads.
Participate in REI Sales & Service Training and promote REI goods and services.
Support store pickup, including receiving and processing products.
Follow REI loss prevention and safety procedures.
Work a flexible schedule based on business needs.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
