About The Position

The Store/Price Integrity Lead Clerk maintains accurate pricing documentation and store scanning files, supports retail accounting documentation, and performs recurring store and vendor scan checks. The role also handles computer-room housekeeping and equipment checks, and helps promote company initiatives and process improvements to direct reports. The position requires flexibility to work varied shifts and weekends or holidays as needed, and the ability to perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.

Understanding of key components of department operations, including people management, merchandising, inventory management, shrink control, customer service, labor scheduling, and expense control.

Responsibilities

Maintain the store UPC file, including price changes, deletions, and new items.
Check in and test scan all vendors.
Maintain weekly ad items in the scanning file.
Perform computer-room housekeeping, including checking and cleaning filters, sweeping and mopping the floor, checking battery backup systems, and conducting a monthly power-fail simulation.
Copy the PLU file twice a week.
Maintain documentation on all retail accounting.
Test scan the entire store every six to eight weeks.
Maintain the Special Report File, including A.C. Nielson, Sami, and the Special Item Movement Report.
Promote, communicate, and implement company initiatives and process improvements to direct reports in a positive manner.
Perform any and all duties as assigned.
Remain flexible and available to work mornings, afternoons, evenings, or nights as demands require, including weekends and holidays as needed.
