About The Position

The Store Monogrammer provides guests with personalized Pottery Barn Kids merchandise utilizing a monogram machine and tools. This role requires high attention to detail to ensure accurate personalization and quality control of embroidered items.

Requirements

• 1-2 years retail sales experience (specialty retail preferred, but not required)
• 1-2 years customer service experience
• Proven ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Ability to operate embroidery machine and adhere to safety practices and policies
• Ability to be mobile on the sales floor for extended periods of time
• Ability to lift and mobilize medium to large items, up to 75 lbs., while utilizing appropriate equipment and safety techniques

Responsibilities

• Select items for personalization and match guest orders.
• Ensure that needle and threading match guest specifications.
• Assess embroidered items for any frayed threading and assure quality before items are picked up by guest.
• Perform routine maintenance and upkeep on the embroidery machine.
• Operate POS system.
