About The Position

Casey’s Store Manager oversees all aspects of operating a successful store, including team management, guest service, merchandising, loss prevention, and food preparation. The role contributes to a fun and helpful store atmosphere for guests, team members, and the community. The position offers a customizable career path for continued growth in management and leadership. The starting pay range is $58,100–$69,900, with actual pay based on the candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities, related experience, education, qualifications, local prevailing wages, and internal equity. The role is eligible for quarterly and annual bonuses based on store and company performance; the full salary range extends beyond the listed hiring range to support continued growth.

Flexibility to take calls as needed and work varied hours, including at least one evening shift per week, every other weekend, and some holidays.

A background check may be required consistent with state licensing requirements and applicable law.

Responsibilities

Execute Casey’s strategic initiatives, drive sales, and maintain store quality and service standards.
Keep the store stocked and clean to support strong relationships with guests and communities.
Hire, train, develop, and supervise Team Members; coach and mentor them to support their success and growth.
Model and coach Casey’s CARES values: Commitment, Authenticity, Respect, Evolving, and Service.
Manage the labor budget and staffing needs for regular hours, special events, and high-traffic periods.
Keep the scheduling system current, prepare and post schedules on time, and communicate scheduling updates appropriately.
Oversee kitchen operations to maximize productivity and profitability.
Oversee daily bookwork, Daily Store Walk, Daily Task Lists, required counts, audits, and merchandise orders.
Manage inventory and Direct Store Deliveries (DSD), and ensure asset-protection processes and audits are completed.
Partner with the District Manager and store leadership team to develop Store Action Plans based on key performance indicators and profit and loss statements.
Attend and successfully complete required job training and assessments, including ServSave Food Protection Manager where applicable, and ensure Team Members complete required training.
