About The Position

The Store Manager leads AutoZone store operations and inspires the team to deliver outstanding customer experiences in a high-energy retail environment. The role combines hands-on leadership, sales growth, and operational oversight to build a culture of success, safety, and WOW! service for employees and customers. The Store Manager is the direct supervisor for all store-level employees and assumes responsibility for store operations and the commercial department when the Commercial Sales Manager is absent.

Requirements

Basic automotive parts knowledge.
Proven leadership experience with strong communication, decision-making, and sales-driving skills.
Integrity, professionalism, and commitment to customer satisfaction.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while driving operational excellence and team engagement.
Ability to foster a positive work culture focused on development and results.
Proficiency in managing, analyzing, and reconciling Profit & Loss statements.
Ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise with attention to safety and accuracy.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as business needs arise.

Nice To Haves

Strong people skills and effective communication in both Spanish and English.
Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

Recruit, supervise, schedule, train, and develop store personnel.
Assume responsibility for store operations and the commercial department in the absence of the Commercial Sales Manager.
Motivate employees to excel in their roles and enhance productivity.
Ensure clear and effective communication within the team, follow up on tasks, and provide timely updates.
Address customer concerns professionally, turning complaints into compliments.
Conduct and review opening and closing procedures.
Manage emergency situations and follow proper accident protocols.
Monitor risk and safety management activities and ensure a secure workplace and compliance with personal protective equipment requirements.
Drive WOW! Customer Service and create an outstanding shopping experience.
Maintain sales productivity, store appearance, and merchandising excellence.
Monitor cash flow, inventory, and security controls to optimize profitability.
Analyze and reconcile Profit & Loss statements and track store performance.
Delegate merchandising tasks efficiently and ensure timely completion.
Provide performance feedback, conduct evaluations, and foster a culture of success.
